We created a brand campaign for Rituals to generate more online sales. The insight was this: getting back into your routine after the holidays is not easy. But luckily, you can now hold on to that holiday feeling with a Mini Rituals holiday: a set of three products that help you dream yourself back into a world of relaxation and balance. We spread this extended holiday feeling to women with two online films that aired in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and UK.
We created a campaign around the world's first floodlit football pitch, powered by the footsteps of the players. After eighteen long months of construction the pitch was opened in Morro da Mineira, a favela in the heart of a Rio de Janeiro.
Morro da Mineira had a largely unusable football pitch which meant young people were forced to play in the streets. Electricity restrictions also meant they couldn’t play when the sun went down.
This first-of-its-kind football pitch was using 200 high-tech floor tiles which Shell invested in through its LiveWire funding programme. The tiles capture kinetic energy created by the movement of the players and then convert it into electricity to power the floodlights.
Starting with hosting the annual citywide favela league tournament, the pitch will help transform the lives of thousands of people who live in the Morro da Mineira.
